Grant Thornton

Equipping local businesses to shape a vibrant economy for a longer living population

Grant Thornton, a top 10 accountancy firm, enlisted us to deploy its Vibrant Economy campaign across the Southwest and Thames Valley. The challenge was to bring communities and leaders from across the UK together to share their vision for a brighter future. One of the core focus areas was on Britain’s ageing population and equipping local businesses to shape an economy for a longer living population.

The Faces of a Vibrant Economy identified 100 organisations and their leaders that demonstrate excellence through infrastructure projects that join up public services – with a separate project stream focusing on benefits for later life communities. Through media profiling, we brought Grant Thornton’s proposition to life and engaged potential prospects in joint publicity.

We supported the regional Live Lab events in Bristol and Reading, and analysed data at a local authority level for its Vibrant Economy Index to create several angles that generated extensive media coverage. This resulted in 10 media interviews and seven thought leadership articles, that produced 20 pieces of top tier coverage for the campaign including Business Leader and Business Magazine.
